Thanks! I'm able to boot now.
Regarding the boot entries .. now since opencore using launcheroption there is 2 opencore entries on by boot menu.
- Bootstrap
- Launcher
Is this expected? If no .. how can we remove the boostrap boot entries?
Has anyone experience this..
Upgrade was smooth but after replacing opencore 0.6.3 file to 0.6.7 I cannot booting. Its always redirect to bios .. im pretty sure the folder is correct because I paste what inside the installer
EFI
-- BOOT
-- OC
Right now i only can boot via usb installer, weird..
- Disable Onboard (Work)
- Enable Onboard (Not-Work)
Now when I change the SMBIOS to iMac20,2 its working lol.. previously I'm using iMac20,1 ...
I don't understand whats happening here.
Hmm its weird .. I'm seeing intel here rather than apple inc .. means it is motherboard bluetooth not the BCRM94360CD -_-
I'm still on Catalina anyway..
I'm using AirportItlwm kext too anyway .. could you please share us you loaded kext currently man?
I've just trying big sur.. and the bluetooth is not working. Wifi working when booting but when toggle on/off its gone
Try to install and put your EFI on USB ..
I tries to install with OTA and its fail..
Also I do advice to stay on catalina, on my end I tested wifi and bluetooth is not working at least now. And vendors just preparing for adjust their application to fit big sur ENV.
Better tp stay on catalina...
I see .. well noted..
Seems deleting GPRW make the wake by keyboard working too haha..
The only thing left now I cannot manage the airdrop to work .. its running but cannot find any device nor get founded by other device.. bluetooth ans wifi is working.. weird...
Hi man just realize it..
Seems that when I used GPRW .. IntelBluetoothFirmware will not working... is this expected?
How did you manage to have sleep and bluetooth working?
For anyone experiences this, just retry until it can be installed. I need 3x redownload to get it working.
Everytime its failed always clean your cache and uninstall (if any) using ccleaner before retry to download again.
Solved it by exporting my own ec-usbx.aml and kext.
Now I'm trying to get the onboard bluetooth works.
Update:
- still no luck with wake up ny keyboard? Try acpi-wake-type but still not working.
- intelfirmware kext is not loaded cause bluetooth still not working. Still teying to figure out...
