thanks for sharing this.
i hacked same mobo with i5-6500 5 years ago, using clover then. i have since moved to opencore on coffee lake systems. but now is time to upgrade this and i have only luck making HDMIs to work. the DVI remained black screen after DMOS. I tried your EFI too but same...
I used this. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Desktop-Guide/
initially I got black screen due to frame buffer issues so I used boot flag -igfxvesa and it got me to boot up. next step was to add the proper frame buffer in which i used the Bus ID iGPU patching at...
Acer XC 885 works using UHD 630 graphics, tested with Opencore on Catalina 10.15.3 . Framebuffer patching had to be done but it was straightforward just following the guide.
However, after upgrading to 10.15.4 screen goes black after booting up. just need to unplug and plug the hdmi cable but...
at first, i was trying to export in FCPX using HEVC (compressor) and i realised compressor doesn't use the GPU.
so i just did a conversion of proress422 to HEVC in videoproc and the conversion indeed speeded up as compared to the previous settings that i was using which were macmini 8,1 and...
Using my Rx480, I tested mac pro 7,1 and imacpro 1,1 with Kexts WEG 1.3.5, Lilu 1.40 and HEVCEnabler from post #3 . Videoproc shows both HEVC and H264 are available (with iGPU disabled).
I'm on 10.15.2 .
AppleTV works too. I don't have netflix though :p
I updated it. thanks very much for the guide. I've read some other people with same hardware as mine managed to get theirs working without doing this. for those who run into the same problem as mine, hopefully this helps. All ports light up when plugged.

thanks very much! below is what worked for me eventually. I even tried DVI to HDMI and DP to HDMI, both of them worked.
Index 1, BusID 0x01, Type HDMI
Index 2, BusID 0x02, Type HDMI (DVI)
Index 3, BusID 0x04, Type DP
I have the motherboard MSI b360m mortar trying to get this UHD 630 to work. I tried the suggestion above but no nothing lights up in red. also tried Index 2, BusID 0x06 Type HDMI + Index 3, BusID 0x04, Type HDMI and got no luck. where do I go from here?
OS version: 10.14.3
monitor: DELL...
I was trying to do that but I got stuck at the connections part. since my HDMI and dp port are not even detected by Hackintool, idk if I can just do trial and error. will it break the hardware? coz if not, I'll just go for it :P
thanks. unfortunately same result as original settings.

Hi Guys
I decided to go get "newer" PC parts coz I found some good deals (or so I thought) but I've been trying to get mine to work for a week now with no luck.
I ended up using rx570 just to install it successfully but I want to be able to use just the intel UHD 630. I just boots to black...
Has anyone tried any if these?

Yes it was the adapter coz prior to that, the hack was working flawlessly. Apparently it had to be re-pinned correctly but I was too excited to use it and then I saw spark in the motherboard when I turned it on. The ones being sold online are not made for hp 6300/8300/8200/6200 and now after...
