Hi,
I've been noticing some changes since Ventura, nothing related to hardware changes:
When booting up, right before getting the macOS login screen, the screen would go black for a few seconds. Seems random. Not every time occurs and when it does, is not always for the same duration...
Sorry for bothering with such a minute, specially since there is still people struggling to upgrade to 12.0.1.
Has anyone got the "variable" refresh rate option with 12.0.1?
I have seen around a few reports of people who got support for adaptive sync on their external monitors and I was...
I also don't get the "variable" refresh rate option on 12.0.1 :(

Hi,
just upgraded to 12.0.1 and wanted to quickly share some notes:
Very smooth upgrade from 11.6.1 using OC 0.7.4. No hiccups.
“i225-V” Ethernet adapter is not working (expected).
New PCIe LAN card HP NC360T (Intel 82571EB) works natively on both Big Sur and Monterrey.
Bluetooth Fenvi T919...
I read is some forum that "HP NC360T Intel PRO/1000 PT LP Gigabit Dual Port = Intel 82571EB" is natively supported.
That could be a possible workaround for z490 vision g users.
I think I can act as devil's advocate saying that Mike has in mind real Mac users. We, hackintosh users, are more prone to render the system useless because are constantly tweaking and experimenting on hardware that is not officially supported. Should an issue occur on a real Mac user, system...
Hi fellow vision-g user, I have question:
How the ethernet issue looks like? no ethernet at all or is it just a downgrade from 2.5Gbit to 1Gbit?
Thanks!
Juan
Hey, quick question for vision g Monterey testers...
Is there support for i225-v network adapter?
I'm currently using boot arg dk.e1000=0 to enable the driver on Big Sur.
Thanks,
Juan
I wouldn't be surprised if some of them used hackintosh desktops at home :)
By the way, has anyone submitted a bug/feedback for lack of support for i225-v in Monterrey? If not, I'd be glad to submit it.
Thanks,
Juan
Just to be clear, I was not referring to Dortania guide, but to the documentation released with OpenCore.
I understand the recommended value here is true or enabled.
Thanks,
Juan
