I must apologise… but… I moved on to an M1 Air. The Yoga got so hot under load that I could fry eggs on it (not unusual with Intel processors). The Air is silent and the only time it got warm was in the beginning, when it was indexing + downloading photos + downloading emails + I was...
I'm on 1504x846, my old eyes prefer that. No flickering.
The trackpad, weirdly, used to have issues for me – it would sometimes stop working after sleep and I'd need to use a mouse to reboot the laptop – but they fixed themselves somehow by using @Silent99's set of files, then replacing the...
I think the latest BIOS might be the problem :/ but let me see what I've got here.
(The SMC sensor kexts don't work, but I was too lazy to remove them, I don't like changing things that work.)
The battery status is handled by the DSDT for me, same as the trackpad. But your DSDT is going to...
I think I'm just going to keep 48Hz. I don't notice any difference at all. The laptop runs cooler and I wonder if it's related – less work for that excuse for a CPU.
****. I'm so sorry to hear that :/ Do you happen to still have warranty? MAYBE Lenovo will do something for you…
I'm keeping the 48Hz for now, until someone figures out a way for lazy people to get 60Hz ;) (or until I buy the 14" Mx Macbook Pro when it comes out) I have no problems and don't...
Mine starts up just as fast, but heats up like Mojave used to. I can't say I notice the 48Hz, to be honest. Maybe if it was 120Hz before, I would. As things are, I'm not even sure whether the display properties are correct, It Just Works (TM).
With Mojave my trackpad used to stop working...
Delete BT4LEContinuityFixup.kext, enable ExtendBTFeatureFlags in OpenCore, and Lilu 1.5.1 + WhateverGreen 1.4.8 are fine. Still no 60Hz, but I can't say I notice the difference, unless I am watching a movie. The difference I do notice is that the laptop is running *much* cooler. As to whether...
Final update for today:
I saw elsewhere that the new WhateverGreen should enable 60Hz. Updated OC, VirtualSMC, WhateverGreen and Lilu, which caused the boot to last extra four minutes (4x 60s stall on "BAT1"), broke power management, and did not give me 60Hz. I am now back to Lilu 1.4.9 and...
Okay, I just used a real Macbook to install it on an external drive, then copied the EFI. Trackpad doesn't work and somehow wifi did at first boot, but not at second (swapping places with bluetooth). Will play with it further. Haven't tried iMessage or anything else yet. Even the actual Macbook...
Ooop. I don't really dare to install it to the internal. Do you think that could be the problem? This is before the first boot, or rather on its way there. The laptop reboots twice, completes (or so it seems) the install, then craps itself before getting further.
It's driving me crazy that...
Thank you!
The installer goes through, both first and second pass. I can't boot, though – can that be a third install pass?
I've also been looking at this log and "Waiting for DSMOS" appears right before – not sure whether that's coincidental. VirtualSMC is in, I tried FakeSMC as well, but...
Damn. I have no clue :(
Still stuck on ALF after remaking the installer, copying all changed options from @Silent99's config.plist, formatting the external drive, reinstalling.
Edit: debug version… crashes?
280:389 00:030 OCSB: Secure boot is disabled, skipping

Can't figure it out for love nor money. Tried Big Sur recovery, which to my surprise even loaded, but got me to "disk5 is write locked". Then I tried to use the USB installer again, and "disk5 is write locked" repeated 6 times, at which point the fun ends, is the new error.
Edit: oh wait, I...
