Ok I finally got it working. After i reinstalled clover properly, i copied over fakesmc and usbinjectall into /efi/Clover/kexts/other and it worked. Now i'm having a couple of my external drives connected through usb randomly disappearing while trying to clone a backup.

I was curious as to why you switched over to 18,3. Do you find any advantages in doing so since you changed over?
