Unable to get Intel i219-v Ethernet working (Asus z490 TUF Gaming Plus)

I think I'll have to figure out how to bypass Big Sur's security scheme. I think you're right in that it is ignoring any changes that I'm making.

Argh. That didn't work either. So frustrating to have a nearly perfect system but yet be so far.

Unable to get Intel i219-v Ethernet working (Asus z490 TUF Gaming Plus)

I'm running the latest Big Sur with CSRUTIL disabled via Recovery Disk terminal session. I'm going to try modding the SystemConfiguration NetworkInterfaces.plist and add the ethernet interface that way. I'll report back.

Edhawk, thank you for the suggestions. I added the APIC patches to the config file. Deleted the other network devices and redeleted the SysConfig folder contents (and as much of the caches under SLE/LE folders as it allowed). Reset the NVRAM on reboot. Still no Ethernet. Here's the ioreg...

Unable to get Intel i219-v Ethernet working (Asus z490 TUF Gaming Plus)

Here's what I get when I run IOReg. I don't understand why it's there but I can't access it via the Network Preference panel. I've even deleted the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folders w/o any change.

Unable to get Intel i219-v Ethernet working (Asus z490 TUF Gaming Plus)

Thanks for the tips. I accidentally sent the config from mods I made based upon a similar build I found online. I corrected the errors and confirmed that the motherboard indeed has Intel i219-v chipset. I've also included the Hackintool screenshot with the address for the ethernet port.

Unable to get Intel i219-v Ethernet working (Asus z490 TUF Gaming Plus)

Hi, For some strange reason, this ethernet port does not work on the Mac (tried in Catalina and Big Sur). It shows up fine under Windows 10. It's not disabled in BIOS. I have used IntelMausiEthernet as well as IntelMausi w/o success. Kextstat shows that the driver is indeed loading. Specs...

macOS 11.0 Big Sur Public Beta is Now Available

Opencore 0.6 with latest kexts... didn't change the CSR-config bit yet. I upgraded last night with only 1 hitch. On first reboot, it tried to launch EFI and failed so I restarted and it proceeded to complete installation. My guess is that it wanted to update firmware. Will fine tune more over...

Easiest update ever using OpenCore. Used combo installer and walked away. Much easier than Clover.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (387.10.10.10.25)

I also used this method. For some reason, I have to drop the .sh to make it work. Running 10.13.3 w/o lags using old driver. Not sure why this is happening.

GA-z170m-d3h Problems with Wake from Sleep/Shutdown

Hello - I'm at my wit's end so any help is appreciated. Since installing 10.13 + Supplement, I've had innumerable problems with sleep/wake and shutdown. I've enclosed my config.plist (minus serial #s etc). I'd appreciate any help. System works until it sleeps. Basically, I get a black screen...
