I managed to get into single-user mode via my Recovery partition and deleted the nvda_drv=1 boot arg from the config.plist file on the EFI partition of my startup drive. While in recovery I also verified and fixed permissions on my startup drive as well.
I then rebooted back to the Clover menu...
I'm trying to boot off a Clover/Yosemite Install USB but the nvda_drv=1 boot option is still stuck.
I've tried the following when trying to boot using the integrated graphics:
deleting nvda_drv=1 (won't let me)
adding nv_disable=yes
booting without caches
Each time I get a message stating...
Yes, this is where I'm editing the boot args. I'm going into Options and either editing the nvda_drv boot arg to =0 or removing it completely. Once I return to the Clover home screen, I hit the spacebar on my boot drive and it shows nvda_drv=1 was added back as a boot arg.
This is what I've been doing, but each time I change or delete the nvda_drv=1 arg and return to the the clover home screen, nvda_drv=1 gets added back somehow (I hit spacebar on my boot drive and it shows me which args are enabled).
I'm getting the following kernel panic after having updated to 10.10.3 and the nvidia web drivers which support that OS version.
My guess is it's tied to the fact I have both nvda_drv=0 and nvda_drv=1 boot arguments but this is b/c I can't remove nvda_drv=1 using Clover. I've tried deleting...

I recently got my EVGA 750se up and running with the latest web drivers, but I can't figure out how to get the fan to spin down when idle. Since I've got it working it's been full speed. Any way to control the fan speed either manually or have it tied a temperature sensor?
OK, finally got it working. Here's the steps I took:
Removed GTX 750
Set BIOS to IGFX
Changed SystemVersion AND Info.plist to 14C1510
Executed the following:
sudo kextcache -system-caches
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
Ran the 343.02.02f04 installer (it didn't complain about...
I'm running 10.10.2 build 14C1514 and I'm trying to install a new GTX 750 GPU. When I boot the only resolution available is 1024x768 using either HDMI or DP.
With the help of this thread I was able to install the NVIDIA WebDriver-343.02.02f03.pkg, but I can't seem to get the driver to load. In...
Security Update 2013-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again
Thanks... so I can stop banging my head against the wall trying to change what the preferences says. With the driver and 750 installed I'm able to boot to the desktop but only getting 1024x768 as a resolution option. The 'About This Mac'...
Security Update 2013-003 Breaks NVIDIA Web Driver Again
I'm trying to install the web drivers for a new GTX 750 installation. I'm currently on 10.10.2 (14C1514). I've tried changing my SystemVersion.plist to reflect version 14C1510 in order to install WebDriver-343.02.02f03. Doing so allows the...
