by the way what is the difference between ACPI 4.0 and ACPI 5.0 in MacIASL because when compiling with ACPI 4.0 i get no error unlike ACPI 5.0

as you can see from my profile i have the same laptop. i tried everything i think of to solve this problem with no success . the only solution that worked for me is to install clover in legacy mode. so i guess the problem is with cloverUEFI drivers

for battery status you can try ACPIBacklight.kext from this link https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-acpi-battery-driver/downloads it works for me without dsdt patching you should also create SSDT for your CPU ( power management ) if you have not already
