    Turning off Clover timer/auto-select?

Is there somewhere in clover that I can turn off the timer/auto-boot? I'm running Clover 5135. I've skimmed through clover configurator, and the clover menus, but if it is there, I'm not seeing it, or don't recognize what I'm seeing. My motherboard has a really quick window for getting into...

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Looks like everything that should be working is working. Software Update has now started bugging at me to update to Big Sur. Is it worth messing with, or a lot of headaches?

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Lack of BT function was due to the BT USB cable being plugged into the wrong port on the board. Apparently with the prior settings I was using (which I realized was Jbarnette's, not yours), it didn't matter, and with yours it does. I still have two non-functional USB ports on the top of the...

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Ok - updated clover and 10.15.7 installed, I'm running, but I have a few issues: 1. Clover says there is a problem in config.plist, checking the log: 0:105 0:000 Using config.plist at path: \EFI\CLOVER 0:105 0:000 There is problems in plist '\EFI\CLOVER\config.plist' 0:106 0:000...

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Got it. I don't mind switching. Does that mean I just need to generate a new SN and SmUUID in your config.plist, generate config, and then copy/paste the contents of your EFI folder into my EFI folder, reboot, and continue the os install? Or is there something more I need to do?

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Ok. I've downloaded the efi-clover-5134-z390m-zip file. I assume that is the most current, having the highest build number? Using the config.plist in your file, I mounted my EFI partition, navigated to EFI/Clover/ and opened the config.plist there. It is dated Oct 20, 2019, which seems like...

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

I don't recall, to be honest. I'm guessing not? Clover tells me it is 4934.

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Would someone be so kind as to assume (not-incorrectly) that I have little idea of what I'm doing, and walk me through the updating process? In mid 2019 I built an i5-9600K on the Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming board, and a Radeon Vega 56. I got it running 10.15, and for a variety of reasons never...

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Ok - dumb question time. I started the download through the preferences pane and wandered. A while late I heard the system reboot, so I came back, rebooted from windows (my default) and selected my hack drive in bios and booted into clover. Once in Clover, I have the choice of FileVault...

Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Hi, I built the system in my bio over the summer, and installed 10.15 on iMac 19,2; I didn't really have any problems with the install, beyond whatever the shutdown = reboot bug people seemed to have problems with. So far, everything runs fine as far as I can tell, but I haven't done any...

    [SUCCESS] jbarnette's Build - ASUS TUF Z390 M Gaming + i9-9900K + Sapphire RX Vega 64 8GB + 32GB RAM + MacOS 10.14.3 w/ USB3 working!

Thanks! got the 10.15.0 update and the system profile changed. Everything seems to be working still, though I haven't tried the hardware monitoring stuff yet.

Sorry - what is MAS? Also - which kext is it I need to install so that system monitor stuff (temps, fan speeds) works? Whatever it is, I forgot to do it the first time around. I assume this would also be a good time to install it?

Ok - that makes sense. I change that profile setting in MultiBeast, right?
