Hello @CaseySJ I finally have some time to prepare a bootable backup, I'm on 12.6.2 right now. Can you tell me if I should follow the guide from this thread or the guide from your other thread? I'm having some crashes on Adobe InDesign so I wanted to do a backup and then try to do an in-place...

hello @CaseySJ I've been using the updated Hackintosh for a couple of weeks now, and it's working wonderfully! I plan to copy the system on my NVMe, but 2 questions: 1. on your Asus hackintosh guide, you said it's better to avoid Samsung NVMe. I got a Samsung 970 Evo since the beginning of this...

Dear @CaseySJ I finally succeed to install Monterey. I was about to write you (to say that both NVMeFix and SetApfsTrimTiemout didn't work) when I saw @shimala post below having a similar problem. Then I realized that while I did the BIOS update, I haven't checked if any settings were...

    - Yes, I'm pressing F12 to choose my boot disk (see screenshot, where my mouse is pointing). - OpenCore version at the bottom right is: REL-087-2022-12-06 - Verbose logs are in the video attached (zip file) Thanks a lot for your help, I'm so sad it's not working as it should be! Especially...

Hi @CaseySJ Unfortunately, I didn't work either and freeze at the beginning of the loading like everytime. I've opened the config.plist (using OpenCore configurator 2.65) to enter my serials numbers and got this: Is this why it's not working? Saved anyway and restarted to try to install...

Thanks @CaseySJ fot your help, see attached I'm very curious to know why it's not working! Because it seems I'm missing something even though I re-did the whole thing to make sure I haven't done any mistakes. Can something wrongly set in the BIOS be an issue?

Well, @CaseySJ, it seems I'm not lucky at the moment :'( I just can't boot Monterey installer, it's not working. Here's what i did so far: - updated to F9i BIOS with CFG-Lock disabled - using OpenCore 0.8.3 EFI (from your post). I re-downloaded and did everything again. - using OpenCore...

Great, thanks again for your help. Just to make sure: the EFI folder you mentioned is the one that was initially from you, that I modified with my serials, changed SecureBootModel and ResizeAppleGpuBars etc... correct? And then, I need to mount the USB EFI where I installed Monterey and place...

Yes, I think you're right. I was hoping to be able to switch from Clover to Opencore to spare me the hassle of re-installing everything (especially since it working so well at the moment) but a fresh install seems to be the best option. Here's what I was thinking to do: - install Monterey using...

Unfortunately, it didn't work. The boot stop exactly at the same moment (tried a couple of times), after the line "PCI configuration end, bridges 11", etc... See attached a screenshot so you can check if I removed the boot argument properly.

@CaseySJ I changed the SecureBootModel to disabled and it's not booting but now is displaying some infos (see video). It seems to stop mid-boot somehow. I tried a 2nd time and I think it stop at another moment during the boot.

Dear @CaseySJ Thanks for your help. I've also been re-reading the guides to see if I made any mistakes but I can't find anything. Maybe my actual installation isn't 100% clean, so it gives me trouble? Anyway, here's what I know so far: - when loading OpenCore (using the USB stick on F12 boot) I...
