I spent a day messing around with clover, changing various things, but in the end i used Hackintool to Install the Kexts to /L/E and rebooted, sound is now working for me (ALC889 on a Gigabye GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3)
I'll check, but I just managed to resolve it. I have Yosemite and Sierra side by side, so I compared, and the realtek kext was installed in S/L/E but not working, no Ethernet card was detected. I copied it into the EFI, /CLOVER/ketxs/10.12 and it now works.

this works perfectly except for networking ! very weird. I have Yoesemite installed and that works well, did a clean install onto a new SSD and followed the guide, but I can;t get any of the 3 realtek options in Multibeast to work. I'm on a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev. 1.0) , any ideas ?

think I'm overlooking something, I've installed OSX as per the guide, it's done the install and I can boot from USB stick and boot from my installation. I've installed clover configurator v3650, installed it onto my Hard drive, customsied it so that "Install for UEFI booting only" is ticked...
hmm strange one. I was on 10.11.1 and I upgraded to 10.11.3, it seems to have gone ok, but now the disk and power light flash consistently , one second on , one second off.
I've got it installed on the 32gb msata with the 1TB as an extra disk, so I'll probably re-install and setup a fusion...
I've got pretty much everything working now except for Audio, for some reason I can't get it working. I didn't try HDMI audio yet, but the normal Audio is greyed out and no output device is detected.
