Not sure, I am only using the nvidia-update script from here. But you are right, if I uninstall Nvidia driver the resolution is the default one.

macOS High Sierra, version 10.13.1 (17B48) with clean install: iBook, Xcode (Debug View Hierarchy and Debug Memory Graph) working properly without any hacks! Also Mouse Cursor issue on Dell 5K is no longer present.

Accesibility / Display / Uncheck [] Shake mouse pointer to locate. This seems to fix the cursor issue for me.

@XQC Which system definition are you using? With MacPro6,1 or iMac15 I get reboots and no working 5K. It only works with MacPro3,1 but I still have to toggle monitor off/on although I applied the patch.

I am using the previous driver with EVGA GTX 970 SCC (04G-P4-3975-KR). Togheter with UP2715K from Dell (5K resolution). Works great except that after booting I have to switch off and on the monitor in order to see the main screen and not a secondary screen. After that everything is OK. I hoped...
