    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

Titan Ridge. I solved the docks showing up. I even added an additional Titan Ridge AIC - which shows up and works perfectly in Windows. Both are allowing USB3 dock mode, but alas. No TBT. The search continues. Replaced my Titan-Ridge card with my 10GBe Aquantia 107 since I really need the...

    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

Not in the slightest. Madlad, remember? :D I'm probably going to reach out to Gigabyte and see if I can get in-channel with one of their engineers to try and get a BIOS adjustment. Thunderbolt in Windows has been questionable on this board so far anyway, so it's not like i'm demanding support...

    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

So I went out on a limb - because I can be a bit of a #madlad - and went through the process of getting Monterey Beta 3 installed. All is well, except now my thunderbolt docks don't even enumerate or show up as USB 3 hubs. I thought that was incredibly interesting.

I was expecting this answer, as much of a bummer as it is. As always, I certainly appreciate your ongoing efforts and incredible responsiveness. D-P is a newer iteration with a USB-C header on board, and bum Thunderbolt 3 support for some unknown reason. For the most part, the rest of the board...

    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

I picked this board up intending to upgrade from my 9900K + Designare to a 3950X and Vision D-P. I've run through all available BIOS for the D-P, including 10. Nothing so much as a peep from Thunderbolt itself, though my TBT docks are acting as USB 3 hubs. Hackintool correctly recognizes the...

I fixed your iGPU implementation for you, it was missing a few params. Have you unlocked your CSR Register in your Bios? If not, you need to change Kernel -> Quirks -> AppleCpuPmCfgLock and Apple XcpmExtraMsrs to Yes

Glad you figured it out. When configured in headless mode, macOS uses the iGPU for QuickSync and some processing stuff (like Preview). You either need a kext to fix it, or enable iGPU in Headless and in BIOS / UEFI

Attached. Attached CPU Fans spin, but at a much lower RPM. You sleep issue won't be your NZXT's USB connector, it's an improper implementation of SSDT-UIAC.aml / USBPorts.kext causing your controllers to poll the devices even though they should be released (temporarily), or in a low power...

Lately, I've not been forcing an OC, but setting an all core Turbo OC. Essentially, I removed all of the power & time limits in the BIOS and set an all core turbo to 5.1. The traditional trial and error to figure out the VCore is still required here, but I find it to be more stable - it plays...

You need to create a USB Map SSDT or Kext, and do a frame buffer patch. framebuffer:https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334899-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen/?tab=comments&utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf#comment-2626271...

It sounds like something isn't connected correctly for the AIC. My Bluetooth/WiFi (my system, and my wife's system) is from OSXWIFI, and both work correctly OOB.

I'm on Catalina 10.15.2. Which SSDT did you end up grabbing? My current one is attached, with almost all USB 2 disabled. Only HS11 and HS13 are enabled, the rest are USB 3.

Your Vega should show up in SysInfo similar to this - the key to look for is the Framebuffer depth. 30-Bit Color is what you want. Now, open PS. Select preferences -> Performance -> Advanced Settings under Graphics Processor Settings -> check the box labelled 30 Bit Display Done.
