I ended up using Face Wizard from a Windows 7 partition, didn't try it from a virtual machine. I used a totally black image, so essentially nothing appears, the first thing I see is a brief text spinner, then the Chimera boot screen.

I understood the problem with iMessage is because fileNVRAM was removed. Is there a way to run the latest Chimera without breaking iMessage? Perhaps adding fileNVRAm manually?

Currently, if I were to install either of the versions of Chimera in the latest MultiBeast will I be breaking either iMessages or FaceTime? Thanks.

Thanks MacMan. I already have 'quiet boot' and 'legacy logo' set. What effect will 'boot banner: no' have? Do you think setting 'default partition: x,x' will skip the text spinner, or speed up booting? Thanks again!

Thanks Dschijn. Should all these you've listed give me enough clearance for the RAM with the hardware I have? Would you advise one of these over a liquid cooler such as a Corsair H110?

Yeah I was looking at the Corsair Hydros. It's just all quite overwhelming as there's so many to choose from with coolers! Was just wondering what people here are using?

Hi, I'm after a good cooler as I want to overclock and ensure my CPU lives a long and happy life. Annoyingly I bought high profile RAM so I'm worried about space. I guess I'll probably have to go liquid? I have: - Gigabyte UD5H board - Patriot Viper 3 RAM...

Yeah I was looking at the cooler master 212. Is it easy to change the direction of the fan? Wish I hadn't got high profile ram!

I guess I need to get the ruler out. Bit scared of water cooling due to reports of leaking. Looking at cooler master hyper 212 and thermalight true spirit 120.

Also, is there a way to have the case fans connected to the mono and rev up when needed automatically, like how the CPU fan does? I dislike the idea of having to remember to manually increase the fan speed using the controller on the Corsair 500R case, when doing demanding work.

Yeah, so ideally my absolute max temp would be 80ºC? Only being hit occasionally. The thing is I do a lot of rendering and video work, so I think I need to get a good cooler. Want to overclock too. The thing I'm worried about is getting one that clears my high profile RAM...
