Just a couple of days ago i installed mojave on my folio 1040 g2 following the guide here -probook-elitebook-zbook-using-clover-uefi-hotpatch.
My model isn't in the list of the supported models, but everything i can be aware of worked out fine using the configuration...
I was wrong.
Just tried again to boot with the file installed from "./install_acpi.sh install_ZBook_G3_skylake" and everything looks good, SSDT-DiscreteSpoof.aml is not needed anymore.
Maybe yesterday i failed to update my local probook.git folder properly.
comment out every row with "\_SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP" in it from SSDT-HACK.asl seems the solution.
No more reboot on AC adapter unplug.
Everything seems perfect.
The bootup seems a lot faster (why?!?).
I'll report further issue.
Thanks a lot RehabMan!
technically the patch is fine, the problem is in the SSDT-ZBook-G3-Skylake.aml, something related with the EC.
I can avoid the KP either by removing the patch EC0->EC or by dropping the SSDT-ZBook-G3-Skylake.aml file
as attachment1, the KP i get after the ./install_download.sh command.
I'm able to get through that error by disabling the patch "EC0 to EC" in clover.
As attachment2, another issue, i just added the"SSDT-DiscreteSpoof" file to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched to get ride of it.
i saw it, again thanks for that guide.
As i said, i've been forced to move away from the guide due to a KP if i use the suggested set of ACPI hotpatch + SSDT-ZBook-G3-Skylake. May i provide some information to help you fix it?
I read also that probably the hdmi output is connected to the...

hello, i followed this guide and after the "./install_downloads.sh" script i've been unable to boot.
I managed to boot again dropping the "SSDT-ZBook-G3-Skylake" file from EFI/clover/ACPI/patched (and adding "SSDT-DiscreteSpoof").
Now i got some acpi error on boot, too fast to be read, but the...
