I did try and upgrade 10.13.6 but it failed even after following the guide but it failed. I thought I would try and install Mojava on a partition on a second drive. I managed to get to disk utility and format the partition and once it reboots to the preboot folder I get the following message...

I have solved my issue, I set ig-platform-id to 0x59230000 which is an Intel iris 635 HD graphics card. My HDMI sound is working too. The apple logo flashes whilst booting but I'm not sure why.

Hi, I have followed the guide posted above and followed Khaibit advice too. I have attached a screenshot of the pm output which shows some acceleration. I still can't select 2560 x 1440 and can't listen to sound though Hdmi. Thank you
