    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

Success!!! Writing those lines directly from Safari. The problem was... the BIOS. After downgrading to V.10, everything went smoothly! Thanks for directing me through the whole process, @P1LGRIM! I've learned a lot today!

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

I did some research and found a very detailed thread about a quite similar build (but with 9th Gen CPU). In this thread, the contributor stated, that you need a As I have 10.14.0 - could this be a problem? And do I only need to change the Product name variable or do I need to change the whole...

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

I did. Still no improvement. Guess I'm a hard case. I have two things in mind right now. First: downgrade BIOS. I've read that some guys with MSI boards had success with it, however, I've just updated yesterday and problems were the same as before. Second: try an older version of Clover...

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

Did replace it with the latest from RehabMan's repository (RehabMan-FakeSMC-2018-0915). Did only copy FakeSMC.kext, not any of the other kexts. Result: same (except that the copyright is now 2017 ;) ).

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

Oh man, this is embarassing. :banghead: Sorry for that. Added XHCI-unsupported.kext. Now, with AptioMemoryFix-64.efi and OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi, I sometimes get the infamous "Could not allocate 0x#### pages" and sometimes also the "Error loading kernel cache (0x09)" error. With...

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

Thanks for your advice so far. However, the situation is mostly unchanged. With either AptioMemoryFix-64.efi or OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi, the system stops at the same line as before: apfs_module_start:1334: load: com.apple.filesystems.apfs, v945.200.129, 2018/08/30 With...

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

I meant that macOS installed and booted without any hiccups on the way like it is now... And guess why I replaced the GPU. ;)

    << Solved >> Mojave install on MSI Z390, i7-8700K, Vega64, NvmE

Hi! I'm currently trying to reinstall Mojave 10.14.0 on my machine, after changing the graphics card and messing around too much with clover. I went into some trouble on the way, and now I'm definatly stuck. Current situation: trying to install on MSI MPG Z390 Pro Carbon (newest 1.14 BIOS...

Looking for clean Clover EFI partition for Mac OS X install media (Linux only atm)

Hi there! During the process of a clean Mojave install (mainly because i tossed out my GTX and replaced it with a Vega 64), I ran into a whole bunch of problems. I tried to fix them but the more I tried, the more went wrong and I got completely lost with the result of bricking my EFI partition...

Prohibited after executing MultiBeast - Clover on USB altered?

Hi! I followed the instructions in the link you gave me and re-checked the proposed UEFI settings from the Mojave install guide. No difference. In the attached photo, you can see the error message I get when starting in verbose mode. I'd also like to attach the Clover logs i've taken with...

Prohibited after executing MultiBeast - Clover on USB altered?

Hi there! I managed to install macOS Mojave on my new PC (i7-8700K, 1080 ti, MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon). It booted fine until I executed MultiBeast 10.4.0. After that, I didn't go straight back into macOS, instead I went on to install Windows. When I came back to macOS, I was greeted with...
