Thanks @toleda. After changing the id, followed the steps in the guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...p-realtek-applehda-guide.219810/#post-1492288. Rebooted.
Sound is now working. :clap::thumbup:
Wish you Wonderful Years Ahead.
No Audio Device in output
1. Description of audio problem:
No output device shown in system preference. So, no sound
2. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics
OS Version: macOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Motherboard: GA-X58A-UD3R Ver 2
Very silly of me. :oops:
Rebooted the machine. Checked EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched. Only SSDT-HDMI-AMDfirstname.lastname@example.org and DSDT.aml are present in that folder.
Reattaching files please.
Thanks for your patience and support @toleda!

Attaching the new files

Thanks cmn699. I followed your suggestion of clearing the CMOS, entering the correct BIOS settings. In the BIOS list of hardware, I could see both the USB and the harddisk. However, when I booted into Clover, it lists only the USB - hard drive is not listed. Just to check, I chose the boot from...
