i have an i3-8100, b360 mobo, with RX 570 on catalina and amazon prime works fine in Safari. Netflix freezes my system. Apple TV also fine. Hackintool reports VDA Decoder fully supported.

I think this is an issue with Netflix on safari and an rx480 or 500 series on iMacPro symbios. iMacPro symbios uses Vega cards on real Mac so that is what others have suggested is the issue. I have same problem as you describe but prime videos stream fine in HD on safari. itunes works etc...

Radeon cards do not work with ivy bridge. Even a properly configured system will display red or green screen during itunes, Amazon, Netflix playback. Need a Haskell or newer processor.

I've tried different smbios along with board id and shiki flags, but always get red screen playback when dummy kext is installed (on safari netflix and itunes stream). Even swapped RX 570 from my haswell system to make sure it wasn't the graphics card. Sapphire works perfect in haswell...

It may be simpler to just reinstall clover in your hard drive with legacy boot settings and boot that way. UEFI is unreliable on older Mobos. I’ve had same issue with z68 boards. Some work. Some don’t.

Me too on sound. Have a gtx 960 using modded nvidia web driver and hdmi connection. Pretty sure it’s the modded web driver. If issue persists after updated driver released will report back. All else seems fine.

If it doesn't work with proper system id injected you may also want to try to reset your DRM as described here https://github.com/vit9696/Shiki/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.en.md Then try VDA checker again.

In clover config/system parameters make sure you check inject system ID. Try VDAChecker again. Looks like IGPU properly configured.

See post #30 from this thread. You need to use a connector less ig-platform id. Igpu will not show up in about this mac when properly configured and VDA checker will confirm once correct platform id is used.
