Just tried. Second monitor worked up until the iGPU driver text in verbose came up, then second screen went off. Also if I unplug the cable for the second monitor once at the login screen it crashed the system.
I've mentioned on my own thread I sometimes need to plug in my second monitor once the system is logged in. Not that much of a problem for me while I wait for updates to Whatevergreen that will hopefully fix the issue but I imagine it's probably more annoying for people with larger system cases...
Sometimes plugging the second monitor in after login is needed. Not all the time, and I don't really know what prompts it so i've just took to unplug the monitor before turning the system on and then plugging in once logged in.
Not perfect but the computer is that small it's not really an issue...
Update.
Disabled SIP and ran AGDPfix now both monitors appear on System information and Hackintool as connected but still no output on the second monitor.
Any help with getting the second display up would be great.
Hi all, having a weird issue with my i5 6500/HD 530 on Catalina 10.15.4 (19E287)
I have two monitors attached to the two displayports (Index 1, 2) on my computer. The computer also has a VGA port (Index 3?) but I don't use that.
If only one of the monitors is plugged in, either port will work...
Installed Catalina 10.15.4 (19E287) Vanilla with OpenCore on my HP Elitedesk 800 G2 Mini.
Everything is working (Wifi isn't but I'm using Ethernet anyway) but my second display.
I'm trying to get them both connected via DisplayPort as the only other output on my computer is VGA.
I've tried...
Rewrote my post as a step by step on how it worked on my system.
Follow that through and if you still have errors i'll take a look once i'm on my workstation tomorrow. It's at work you see (we got sick of waiting for a new Mac Pro)
