I've installed Sierra with a Intel HD530, and as it is known, there are some graphics glitches. So, I decided to install and old GeForce 9400 GT, and it works almost perfect.
My mobo is a Gigabyte Z170X-UD5, with a I7 Skylake.
With some applications as iMessages, HipChat, Preview, etc...
Yes, as I said above, it works, but not always. When the dual monitor boot doesn't work, I just have to reboot and unplug the hdmi, restart again, and then dual monitor boot works again.
Once I had the dual monitor working in hot plugging, I tried changing the set up for a Macbook(Skylake) and I often had dual monitor boot (sometimes it crashes).
To enable dual monitor in hot plugin I add some patches to the config.plist. Here is my EFI folder, may be it could be useful...

After a time fighting against several problems I got it:
- Dual monitor (HDMI + DVI)
- Back panel and front panel audio
- Ethernet (I'am waiting my wifi+bt board)
- Apple kb wired until my bt board arrives
- Dual monitor boot :D (sometimes it doesn't work, but it often works)

I am not an expert, but making some changes, I tried to change the configuration to a Mac (which has Skylake technology) and I could boot the cpu with dual monitor (dvi + hdmi).
The bad new is that i don't have audio, i don't know yet what others things I've lost haha.
