I'm not sure what other advice you might have already received...however, I've been keeping all of the kexts from Clover's "10.13" directory also in the "Other" folder. As I haven't jumped on the 10.13.6 update yet, I don't know if this will help. Just another suggestion amongst many.

In that directory (if you had Clover configured to create backups) you'll find a backup of your clover configuration before you installed a newer version. If it's your config.plist file you need...it would be in there.

On my primary drive (aka Macintosh HD) ...Users/EFI-Backups/.. I can find a backup of the EFI installation. Any chance you have the same?

Does you machine have an SSD that was formatted APFS? If so, I noticed in the first post the apfs.efi file needs to be updated.

We made the mistake of not adding the APFS kext to Clover. The question now is ...how do you launch Clover...mount your EFI partition and add it?
