PM981 uses a controller that is known to be buggy. You may be able to try the NVMe fix kext, (PM981 has been fixed with NVMeFix ver. 1.0.2 there is still plenty of kernel panics issues). Read this for more info:

Good to know, I'll hold up with the upgrade then. Perhaps filing an issue on the repository on github may be a good ide ato keep track of progress. Thanks for the heads up.
What kexts are you using to drive the Killer AX1650? Also, if it works like a charm, why would you even consider a Dell DW1830 that only supports 802.11ac? Killer AX1650 is a WiFi6 device with faster speed and the latest wifi capabilities.
Awesome, thanks @shenlinsl. Don't know how I've missed that config before. My XPS now boots properly, seems to have hardware acceleration and the Intel UHD 630 has 1536MB video memory. Wireless and Bluetooth are also working with the DW1830. Thanks a lot for the support and the patience :)
I've gone through the necessary steps you mentioned. Having replaced the EFI folder with the one provided on github blanks my screen when I'm booting in. System does not seem to restart (Dell logo does not come up, keyboard seems reactive as I'm pressing keys, they light up) but the screeen is...
@shenlinsl How are you using the DW1830 wifi card in your Dell XPS 9570? That model only has two antennas, whereas the DW1830 card expects 3. It turns out that my wifi card is actually a Killer 1535 which won't work and needs replacing. Now I wonder if a DW1830 with only two antennas is worth it...
Looks like I an -nv_disable=1 clover boot flag was necessary for the install to continue. I have macOS 10.14.3 installed. Now onto adding the bootlaoder into the SSD's EFI.
I recreated the installer image as per https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ and replaced the EFI directory from your repo (DELL-XPS-15-9570-8950-4K-macOS-Mojave OSInstaller/EFI). I entered the installer successfully, deleted the...
Ok, I’ll give it a go. The question still remains: Do you put any kext into /Library/Extensions or run everything from EFI? In that case, what does sudo kextcache -i / do? Shouldn’t it have no effect as you seem not to install anything into /Library/Extensions?
OK, macOS won't boot anymore. Neither with the config.plist, nor with config15,2.plist. Looks like I have to reinstall macOS again and start over from scratch.
@shenlinsl what's in your Mojave install's /Library/Extensions directory?
I've copied the EFI directory off your github. I can see that there's Lilu, WhateverGreen, the VoodooI2C drivers etc are in place. In that case should I remove the kexts in /Library/Extensions?
I have the i7-8750H @ 2.20GHz with Intel UHD 630 model, but I cannot get the framebuffers to work. macOS 10.14.2 reports Intel UHD Graphics 630 7MB, even after having used the framebuffer values provided in @shenlinsl's config_1080p.plist. I'm running Lilu (REL-131-2018-12-30) and WhateverGreen...
I have the Dell DW1830 which should be compatible according to this article but I haven't had the time to go through the full post-install procedure yet.
