So, I downgraded from my WS X299 Sage to a X299-A (kinda in preparation for retiring my hackintosh at some point in the next year or so), and I'm wondering if there's a base EFI for an X299-A that someone has available… Anyone?

I can't seem to find it, but I'd love the latest WS X299 Sage (not II, and not 10G) USB map working in Monterey… Pretty thanks!

FWIW, I have a T420-CR and the Catalina driver worked fine in Big Sur but does not work in Monterey. I have yet to find a solution or workaround to this… :(

Clean and easy update from Big Sur to Monterey PB. Currently running it on an Asus ROG Rampage VI Apex with an Intel i9-9940X (OC 0.7.1).

That seems dumb but it's accurate: the update didn't propagate through the CDN as it should and it crashed their CDN, causing it to fail. The CDN is back up, but they remove public access to the update (specifically the InstallAssistant.pkg file) while they wait for it to propagate throughout...

After some tweaks and overclocking (including this SSDT, v2.3), my GB4 score went up from ~170k to 210k on my (seriously) overclocked Vega 56 (watercooled, custom loop), but only a very slight improve on GB5, from ~59k to ~61k. Nice! :) PS: MacPro7,1 SMBIOS! :headbang:

What does "patching" mean? :o Also: is this the new "standard" for Asus BIOS or was it a mistake? Because the MsrE2 unlock option is still in the BIOS but just seems to be broken ATM… :o

I'm on a WS SAGE and I think you meant 3101? From my experience, on my R6 Apex, its latest BIOS broke the MsrE2 unlock (it simply stopped doing anything, regardless of enabled/disabled status) and that firmware. It was version 3006 on the R6A and the release notes are eerly similar. I'm afraid...

So, the Solarflare SFN5122F is still working in 10.14? Is there an updated driver? Or just using the old driver?

I wish I had it on an HFS+ drive… It's APFS since 10.14! :(

Agree. I was referring to the Hackintosh side of things... It was pretty similar from a config standpoint. I do understand and recognize the differences between the 2 boards, at a hardware level. I looked into the Designare EX. I would be paying for things I wouldn't want (TB3, etc) and losing...
