I do understand that.
But why do I have a total of 3 volumes? I have the main Catalina Volume, then I have two separate Catalina-Data volumes. That totals 3 volumes. Why do I have the two Catalina-Data volumes, when most installs have only 1? Can I delete one of them, and which one?
As you can see in the screenshot below, for some reason I ended up with 2 Catalina-Data partitions.
I also have a Mojave install and that only has one data partition.
Any idea what I should do with the extra partition?
As you can see, the Mojave install only has one data partition.
Any ideas...
I installed 4 separate ssd's in my computer and installed High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, and Manjaro Linux.
Quadruple booting all successfully.
I am using one EFI partition to boot all of them.
Thanks for the advice guys!
Hypothetically, if I were to do 3 installs on the same SSD with 3 different partitions:
1 partition for a High Sierra install
1 partition for a Mojave install
1 partition for a Catalina install
Can I use the same EFI folder for all 3 installs?
If not, what would the ramifications be?
Thanks,
Len
I had to remove these 2 :
/System/Library/Extensions/AMDFramebuffer.kext
/System/Library/Extensions/AMD9500Controller.kext
Because after installing them, my RX-580 was not recognized properly as it shows in your screenshot.
Once I removed them I was fine.
I had that exact same message. I searched in google for that exact message. There was lots of info. I don’t recall the fix, but I did find the answer there.
It’s an app in Catalina. It’s in your dock. It says Appletv.
Just open it and click on one of their streaming shows such as “The Morning Show”.
