Hi,
I've had all USB ports working on 10.11.4 but since upgrading to 10.12.2 not all ports (both USB 2 and USB 3) are working. Could someone please have a look at my ioreg dump and clover config/kexts. I've tried to follow the steps as per post #1 but failed and there is no USB 3 at all.

I just noticed that after my upgrade to El Capitan on my X99 board a few weeks ago trim isn't working anymore, even after I ran "sudo trimforce enable" several times. Has anyone a clue what I could try to get it back?
Thx :)
I'm using a Sonnet Allegro firewire 800 pcie card without any problems. I've connected two external hard drives and a firewire audio interface, everything is working fine.
Good news for x99 10.11
I just wanted to thank everyone contributing to this thread, since I just updated my X99 build to El Capitan and everything is working as it should. I followed the steps in lokicat's post (#31) and used the same files and settings (except of course for the SMBIOS values...
I bought a BCM4360 bundled with a PCIe adapter as shown in the first post of this thread and bluetooth and WLAN are working except for a problem with wireless speed. Even though I have an 802.11ac router speed is limited to 54mbit/s which is kind of strange... Other wireless devices (including...
Hello,
I bought an apple native wireless PCIe half mini card (BCM4360) off ebay but I'm having small troubles. Wireless is working only at max 54 mbits/s though I'm on 802.11ac and I regularly get bluetooth dropouts when working with my magic mouse. This seems to happen especially when the RAM...
It's been a few weeks since my last post in this thread but I want to give an update to all of you building a X99 based hackintosh. Actually everything is working fine and 100% stable, with hours of video editing and Adobe CC applications a day.

First of all: I highly recommend you to...
I haven't had any problems like that so far, actually my system has been rock solid for the last couple of weeks, I haven't even installed Windows on my machine. The only times I ran into boot errors were more or less my fault, once because I installed GenericUSB kext and the other time might...
Hello,
I just installed my Broadcom BCM4360 card with PCIe 1x adapter but unfortunately only WIFI is working so far and even though it says PHY-mode ac, TX is at 54Mbit/s max.
Concerning bluetooth: I was trying to get Handoff + Continuity to work with a GYMLE Bluetooth dongle before but then...
For all people who are following this thread: today I installed the GenericUSBXHCI.kext which resulted in an kernel panic but for the moment I'm happy without USB 3 anyway.
You can install the Intel power gadget by using pacifist.
As for power consumption: at the moment I'm running at 3,4 Ghz all the time but I saw it dropping to 1,2 Ghz once, don't know what was different back then...
Thanks for the tip. In the beginning I experimented a little bit with the settings since I'm new to clover but I could and should disable them. Will try NullCPUPowerManagement but at the moment I'm actually pretty happy with performance and system stability so I don't want to change too much
I've disabled XHCI in BIOS and interestingly it resulted in an improved multicore performance, single core stayed more or less the same.
I'm using quite a few USB devices and will report back if I encounter any problems.
