I have the same problem since 10.12.05, which persists on 10.12.6.
Board: GA-H67N USB3 B3
Proc.: I3-3225 / I3-2105
There must be lots of people with this olde hardware, I wonder why the problem is not more common?
Is there a fix available, yet?
I did not find one.
I'm experiencing weird things here:
After installation of El Capitan QE/CI worked good, only thing was that HD3000 showed as HD2000.
But after trying to get HDMI-audio working I have no acceleration while HDMI audio is working like a charm.
config.plist and DSDT.aml are attached.
I can't believe it:
Digital audio works now with optical out (but not HDMI witch is not awful).
But in Audio there are only 2 ch shown
My receiver shows dts an all channels, is this normal?
Last time I tried the patch there was no audio output. Everything looked fine but no sound came...
I've got a little problem bringing digital audio to work. My specs:
- ML 10.8.2 (Mac mini system definition)
- DSDT is edited for HDMI audio layout-id 3
- used AppleHDA 889 alpha (already tried the Terminal command on page 18 -> no success)
I was now able to master the problem:
After flashing the BIOS everything was OK again.
Interesting fact: The problem occurred after I installed Windows seven on a different HD, while the Lion HD was offline.
I wonder if the Windows-installation modifies the BIOS?
I also had the following:
kernel: DRMStatus: iTunes/Apple Store Content Access Problem. Content playback may be disabled on this computer. You can continue to use the machine, but you should contact an Apple support representative. ErrorCode: 8877652
After a lot of trial and error I...
Thanks for the tip, but it won't work for me...
I tried a lot but I always got KP's.
I think Hyperthreading is not that important at the moment, better support for SB seems to be near. Until that two processors will be enough.
Edit: Just read in the forum some people benefited from...
