Unfortunately the crashes have come back with a vengeance. I have crashed 4 times in an hour time. I am listening to a Youtube podcast while doing some after effects work. I have removed Little Snitch as well after the first crash today. Does not seem to help.
Here is the crash log...
Hi P1LGRIM,
I would like to thank you for taking the time to point me to these errors in my setup. I have been running stable for days now and have done things that would normally trigger a freeze. Thats fantastic, I should have been so smart to update all kexts. I thought it was probably a...
Hi People,
I am also experiencing very annoying random crashes. It mostly (but not strictly) happens if I stress the computer. Especially graphics-intense projects like Cinema4D and Octane in combination with Youtube is very freeze-prone.
I have disabled Speedstep and Turbo in an attempt to...
Hello,
I am running a pretty dam stable system that I use to make some 3D graphics. Whenever I use CPU rendering everything is fine. But when I use GPU rendering (like Octane) the system freezes all the time. I have the option to resort back to Windows, however my workflow is very much focused...
I would like to update on my system instability issues en the freezes I get: I removed the nVidia Cuda drivers and all of a sudden the system is super stable. That means I can't use Octane anymore, but I'd rather have a stable system.
nVidia: You SUCK :( fix your game!
Hi everybody,
I have followed this guide to create my own super renderer system. Most of the time it works fine and the pc is blazingly fast in normal 3D rendering. I also sometimes use Octane to render and this crashes a lot. Not sure if this is because of my system or the software is just...
Hello,
I have a pretty good running High Sierra system with a i9 processor and Asus motherboard.
Unfortunately I have very frequent crashes and freezes, primarily under GPU load like using Octane 3D GPU renderer and also sometimes watching Youtube.
I have tried looking for other solutions like...
Thanks for the reply!
Well, about half the time i start AE (without running octane or any other GPU-heavy software) it also warns me that i don't have enough VRAM for the 3D renderer. So i do think its a system problem, not (just) a buggy octane.
Hello!
I am currently running a pretty stable system to do video editing and 2D/3D animation on.
When using After effects or Cinema4D the system runs very smooth, but when opening AE the software often complains of a lack of VRAM.
When using GPU-based renderer Octane in C4D it very often...
