As the title mentions, I've been having trouble booting up my system after installing an SSDT, but before I go into detail, a little information about my setup:
Bootloader: Clover 3113 on OS 10.10.1
SMBIOS: Macmini6,2
MB: Z77X-UD5H (BIOS F14)
CPU: i7-3770K
GPU: Powercolor R9 280X
So...
I'm also on the Z77X-UD5H (F14) board with clover and don't experience any issue while connecting USB peripherals after wake - including my iPhone 5S - so it's odd that you guys are having problems. A couple questions: Are you guys on the latest stable BIOS? What SMBIOS are y'all using?
Appreciate the replies toleda. Still trying to work through it, but no go. Booting in safe mode renders the same result, or so it seems. You mentioned graphics weren't loading for me, why would that be and/or how can I fix that?
Following what you said, these are images of where it halts in -v when I place SSDT in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched. I tried it three times with the idea that maybe it hung at different stops different times. Here are the results...
Hey everyone. I'm having an issue and I'm hoping someone can help me. So I followed toledo's guide to a T - or to the best of my ability - and what results is an unbootable system afterwards. I'm wondering whether I've done something wrong or whether there's a fluke I'm experiencing. Anyways...
How would I go about updating AppleHDA and Chimera if my setup has the bootloader in the EFI partition? I need it there for my R9 280X so there's no way for me to revert back.
My favorite app for hardware info is iStat Menus from Bjango. It isn't free - it's $16 for new users - but in my opinion it's one of the nicest looking menu add-ons out there. Worth the money I think.

Yeah I'm having the exact same issue with iWork and iLife both from DVD's. Actual Mac users are having trouble updating their apps under the same circumstance so I'm not sure if it's an Apple issue or a hackintosh one for us.
Upgrading all depends on the build you're working on. If you've followed Tonymacx86's customac guides, you're probably safe downloading and updating like any other legitimate mac. It varies from person to person because there are so many variations of hackintoshes and components but the golden...
Article: MultiBeast 5.5 Update
Just a heads up: Internal Changes notes "Updated EasyBeast and UserDSDT Chimera to v2.2.0-r2248" but under bootloaders it appears as -2148 (as shown below). Just fyi. Thanks.
Yep. Have had it since it first came out on Windows. Found it to be pretty fun but a bit of a letdown with a lot of bugs. Haven't played in a couple of months but now that it's out on Mac I'm about to play it! Hopefully they ironed out all the major problems. Wish me luck. :)
I had a similar issue before. My problem was that I had an XMP profile enabled for my memory. Apparently that's a common problem with these configurations. So if you have that enabled for your memory, disable it, and just manually adjust your timings.
