Hi, I'm trying to do fresh install of BigSur on My Dell Inspiron 7537. Using Clover EFI Bootloader to create the bootable USB. But as soon I select the install volume from boot screen getting Error as shown in the screenshot. What am I doing wrong here.
I just used AppleALC.kext from https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/releases provided by vit9696, along with Lilu.kext . I got both mic and HDMI audio working.

I have successfully installed High Sierra on my Dell Inspiron 7537 having intel HD4400. But using certain apps like Chrome or Intellij I'm seeing screen flickering and distorting in graphics particularly on images. Have attached few images. Anyone can you please help.

Thanks Rehabman! Removing ACPIBacklight.kext fixed the issue.
But I have been facing graphics glitch or image graphic distorted while using certain apps or Chrome browser. It happening only on internal monitor.

Rehabman After following the guide I was able to get the slider appearing in System Display preference but the brightness is not changing but stays the same. I'm on HD4400 Haswell on 10.13.5.

Thanks Rehabman. Looks like the value is retain in NVRAM after reboot. This means my NVRAM is working.

After updating to 10.12.4 I ended up losing brightness control. thanks to this guide got that working back partially. But still one problem, whenever I boot the machine the brightness is set to 0. So I need to blindly type password and after logging in using keyboard shortcut able to increase...
