Broooooo you just resurrected my Saffire from the dead. Can't thank you enough. Saffire 24 Pro DSP now fully working under Ventura 13.1. I could get into Mix Control before to change settings and link with other interfaces, but no Firewire audio driver. Firewire audio is now working perfectly.

What DAW? What sample rate/buffer settings?

Update: moved to OpenCore. F15 now works fine without any patching.

No, but if you are going to use the iGPU you may have higher RAM requirements than you might otherwise. Its really a matter of which DAW your using, the size of your sample banks, and ultimately trial/error.

Doing any live work? Need low latency? Running heavy VSTs like Serum? What you spend money on is more about the use case for the production work and less about the DAW. Don't worry about a video card at all, just run iGPU graphics, that will save you cash there. If you need low latency, or will...
