Use another USB drive and format it Fat32 with one folder named EFI. Place EFI_Shell into that folder and boot from that USB.

You did not set DVMT using EFI_Shell. You may need to add this kext patch to your config.plist.

Did you disable secure boot in the bios? Did you format the USB stick using the method described in the OP? It sounds like you have not made the USB key correctly. Please follow this guide and try again, you do not need to worry about MultiBeast or UniBeast part.

As soon as I finish that post, I closed the lid and opened it after about 1 minute. It rebooted after I logged in, but console had registered all _PTS and _WAK events within about 1 second. It seems that the reboot happens after all the _PTS and _WAK events complete.
