Thanks man. I did exactly that, but the same issue remains. See screenshot. I've also done a screenshot of Back to My Mac in iCloud settings, as I've noticed it's complaining today of a problem with my account. That's new. Btw, FaceTime is working fine.
Don't worry I don't take it as being smug at all. Maybe some people are affected and not others. As I say, it's been fine for many months and I've changed nothing.
Ok thanks. Although I suspect it's something external, rather than something on my hack, because it kicked me out this morning. This afternoon I set up a new, second hack and that's giving me the same error. Is your iMessage working ok?
I'm noticing today that videos sent in iMessages won't play (though they do on my iPhone). What could be causing that? Also, photos are not showing in my hack (that I have sent using my iPhone).
I may have uploaded the CLOVER folder from the faulty existing OS X installation, which admittedly is the result of my wrong doing, instead of the CLOVER folder from the USB. However, it doesn't change the fact that I did follow the guide very carefully, and I even took the time to demonstrate...
I think I demonstrated very clearly in post 214 that I did follow the guide.
You know full well I have a 1080p screen as I've stated it repeatedly and it's in my sig..
I think the only thing I need to sort out is to go back to using PBI-CE. This hotpatch method is far too fiddly and you are...
Thank you for your help. It's good to know that at least my computer is not faulty. Just, apparently, I am faulty.
I can't see where I'm going wrong though. I've followed the guide and created 4, maybe 5, USB sticks. Let me show you what I'm doing and maybe you can tell me where I'm going...
Well, I'm now back in my original OS X (10.11.4) installation on my internal SSD. This is how I did it..
..in Windows 10, I mounted the EFI partition. But Windows wouldn't let me access it, nor provide a Security tab in folder properties so I could gain access to it. So I launched Task...
I think I found the reason I can't get it in to BIOS. On this thread:
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Display-and-Touch/Unable-to-enter-bios-from-boot-screen/td-p/824641
So, I removed my SSD from my ProBook. Did another EC reset for good measure and, low and behold, I can now...
Good morning. Again, thank you for your help.
Just did EC reset.
Then I went in to BIOS and reset settings to default. Now I want to go back in BIOS to enable UEFI boot et al, but it won't let me back in! See vid..
