I just wanted to share my success.
1. Install Mountain Lion (UniBeast)
2. Combo Update 10.8.3
3. Install necessary kext files for my AsRock Z77 extreme6 via KextBeast and Multibeast (Audio, Ethernet, USB 3).
4. Installing Chimera through Multibeast.
5. Inserted my PowerColor HD 7979...

What exactly has been changed since the old version of FakeSMC and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement compared to the new ones included in MultiBeast 5.2? I couldn't find a changelog.
nope it is not supported, because Mountain Lion is 64 bit only and it has no 64 bit drivers for the GeForce 7xxx anymore :-( I have the same issue with my 7950 GTX. Just stay with Snow Leopard / Lion.
1. I created my install drive with the guide here (unibeast), but I got the EBIOS error after booting with it. Then I thought ok let's try another one (lion diskmaker tool) which also results in the EBIOS error. :-(
Maybe it is my SSD, which is not empty (formatted) and Windows 7 (GPT) is...
Yep I knew that already and activated the onboard one (HD 4000) in the UEFI but I didn't remove the HD 7970 from my system. That is what I meant before.
Any other suggestions?

Anyway i have my usb stick now and I can boot from it, but when I'm choosing the usb stick as boot device I got the following error a couple of lines:
