I should have updated this post! Built my 9900KS rig and it's working great so far (aside from a shutdown/reboot kernel panic I can't nail down lol)

For what it's worth, i've resolved this by removing EmuVariableUefi-64.efi and OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and going back to AptioMemoryFix.efi. The issue I have with AptioMemoryFix.efi is that I get hangs on reboot/shutdowns. Any idea on what I could do to resolve that? Thanks! :D

i'm just not 100% comfortable overclocking my main production machine and dealing with the additional cooling required. Maybe it's an antiquated thought, but for some reason I feel better knowing it's running at a stock speed makes me feel like the system will be more stable as a whole.

I'm considering a new build, and am thinking of waiting for the Core i9-9900KS - if it's going to work. I know they're not out yet, but i'm assuming since it's basically the same chip as a Core i9-9900K that it'll work fine? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks :D

For what it's worth, I rebuilt my Skylake build yesterday with 10.14.6 and a new AREZ STRIX Vega 64 and it's rock solid so far. I'll take stability over a slight speed gain with Nvidia any day.
