I'm having very intermittent problems with this card or the Windows drivers. I normally get normal service but today it's running at about 1% speed; approx 1.5Mbps. If I reboot into Mac OS I get well over 100Mbps. Back into Windows and it's ~1.5Mbps again. Same hardware, same antenna, same...
Hey, I've made a few minor tweaks to this now and it's running ALMOST perfectly. I also replaced my onboard wifi card with a BCM94360CS2 which is a thing of beauty!
I have some small issues I was hoping you could help me with:
USB3 ports: Work for USB2 devices. Only work for USB3 devices AFTER...
Perfect, that seems to have fixed it! Thanks.
Looking at it there are a lot of changes from the original EFI. Which actual change fixed this may I ask for my own knowledge?

ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/AC
Intel Core i5 8600K
PowerColor Radeon AXRX 5700 XT 8GBD6-3DH (n.b. this works fine even though it's a PowerColor)
Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 (Windows)
Samsung SSD 850 Pro 512GB (Ubuntu)...
Hmmm, I've bought the LCD controller now so I think I'll have to get one that has a compatible screen. I think only the 21.5" Mid 2011 iMac does!

I’m hoping that the “thin” mini atx Mobo will allow me more freedom.
Please keep me up to date. I’m going to have to wait a month for the lcd controller to arrive I think.
I've been given a broken iMac 2011 21.5". Thinking of combining my habits of SFF and Hackintosh and trying to build a proper Hackintosh inside the iMac.
I've seen some do it with the 27" version, but that's easy!
Looking to re-use the screen (using this), get a thin mini-its board (link), an...
I just bought one of these to attempt the same: https://www.ebay.com/itm/HDMI-DVI-VGA-LCD-Controller-Board-Monitor-Kit-for-LM215WF3-SDC2-screen-1920X1080-/152524146300
I’m not sure if other components will for inside but will give it a go.
