UtterDisbelief i think i managed to get all the usb ports injected however most of them are labeled HP and LP not HS. Cant these simply be renamed in hackintool? see screenshots of ioreg and hackintool.

Thank you toni666! creating the bootable usb worked with sierra i will try with high sierra again!

I created an install USB according to high sierra guide. machine boots to the usb however clover does not show an external installation media. I did have to repair my high sierra installation app using this thread Fix/solution for "Selected Mac OS X Installer is incomplete".

have you had any luck with tour serial port? i also need osx to recognize an onboard serial port so that a windows vm can access it
