    Ancient Hackintosh build

@Jamesbond007 it's actually an industrial class motherboard which iirc is H61(? my memory is fuzzy on the chipset), where it has a mini pcie slot (but the seller exclusively tell me to use it for network appliances -- don't use it for like a mini pcie sata controller) so that I can put a BCM...

    Ancient Hackintosh build

Will this spec be capable of running Bug Sur? CPU: Xeon E3-1265L (yes, the one you can find in a MicroServer Gen8, which is technically a 1260L with an upgraded iGPU) RAM: 16G generic DDR3 SSD: a random MSATA drive (I heard starting from Mojave NVME and MSATA works natively) WIFI: a BCM...

I have Ruined my Macbook Air

lol Tonymacx86 removed my original post on the grounds of profanity, is this a Christian forum? and after reviewing some recent post I actually did what wallybear did but on hardware level (without using a real ROM programmer, the SAM port is built-in in every Mac post-2013). Props to you...

    Lenovo Yoga 530-14IKB help

I've referenced other post like https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/acer-swift-3-2018-catalina-with-opencore-guide.289366/, and I was able to boot to the recovery disk screen. However it wouldn't work if a mouse isn't connected as the trackpad doesn't work, and it seems like voodoops2 couldn't...

USB 2.0 port are not working while 3.0 ports are

After ten million tries I gave up...The USB2.0 ports are misidentified as USB3.0 since my Port 0 and 1 are USB3.0 accordingly...Must be the hardcode in kext make it possible.

USB 2.0 port are not working while 3.0 ports are

Whoops, my bad. I'm pretty new to the Hackintosh Scene and so can't get a grip on the rules. Anyway, is there any way to capture kernel boot log from Clover using USB? I mean, I can't even get past the installation boot...I found no logs in EFI/Clover and that won't be useful at all...An image...

USB 2.0 port are not working while 3.0 ports are

I believe it is partially due to AppleUSBEHCIPCI...My guts told me so, couldn't find the grounds why. EDIT: Found the root of the problem... This explains why I have the "Still waiting for root device" problem, the 2.0 ports are actively disabled so my Sierra USB thumb which is in a 2.0 port...

USB 2.0 port are not working while 3.0 ports are

Oh, sorry. By the way, there aren't any CPU option for E5-2660 so I chose 2670 instead. My Pascal 1060 is not on the list either... WRONG. I should not pick signature build. There it goes. Hope it would be useful for diagnosing my current problem.

USB 2.0 port are not working while 3.0 ports are

This is so funny. since many people here are reporting to have problems with 3.0 ports rather than 2.0 ports. Previously I had already faced and bypassed the infamous "Still waiting for root device" problem. I hot-plugged my installation thumb from a 2.0 port to a 3.0 port and holy-cow...

    infinite chimes

    1. I have created an UniBeast USB drive with Sierra 2. I booted UniBeast to my MBA 3. I have selected the external hdd to test out UniBeast 4. It doesn't work after 30 minutes of waiting. I shutted it down. 5. It won't boot again Now I can only hear chimes after chimes. The first once is crispy...
