Turns out, after I installed the audio driver, I rebooted, and my 6TB Raid Drive failed (unbelievably) and prevented Clover from loading. I lost everything on the drives. It's just a capture drive for videos that I transfer to my NAS.
It took a long time to get there but everything works again...
I have had a very stable 10.12.6 install for many months now. I decided I wanted to use the optical output on my board. It did not show up in the Sound Preferences so I installed a couple of drivers in Multibeast. I don't remember which ones. I had opened up Clover to see what was there and it...
Sorry about the double post. i thought I could delete he first one...
The Installer is named "Install macOS Sierra" version 12.2.06 from 1/24.2017. It came from the Apple App Store.
I archive all my systems just in case.
I have tried several versions of uniBeast by the way including the latest. I have put the installer in the Applications folder. It is for 10.12.3. It is grayed out in the USB creator UniBeast at the second step. BTW I am running 10.12.4 on my 2013 MacPro.
Any possibilites?
I have been doing the startup with internal graphics, choosing which hard drive I want to boot from in Clover, then unpluggin the HDMI cable and plugging into the RX 480 and blindly waiting for the desktop to show up. I don't mind this. Only I can't choose which hard drive unless I use my USB to...
Thanks, but I always do it that way. Drag kext on Kext Utility and it does the rest.
I just wondered why clicking or unclicking "patch vbios" causes booting up from clover to appear and disappear.
I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but,
I followed all of these directions in Clover Configurator but in GRAPHICS when I click on the "Patch VBios" it works fine and my Sapphire RX 480 8GB loads fine but Clover is not longer an option when I boot up and I have to use the USB to do...
Thunderbolt is working. I am using the Apple TB3 to TB2 adapter. I am using a Lacie External TB2 enclosure.
Nothing special in the BIOS except that I used No Security in security settings for Thunderbolt.
Thunderbolt does not appear in About This Mac with the drive mounted on the Desktop.
Well adding the second RX 480 didn't work. Black Screen. I heard the 480(s) do its little rattle sound meaning the drivers kicked in but no display on either card. If I plug into the internal video, I see the white Apple and the progress bar stuck at about 80%.
