    [Solved] OpenCore boot menu

To fix this, create a hidden file ".disk_label.contentDetails" using TextEdit. Open TextEdit, change to plain text format, type Big Sur or the volume label you wish to use and save it as mentioned above. Now copy the file to System/Volumes/Preboot/UUID/System/Library/CoreServices. Reboot. This...

<< Solved >> Black Screen on High Sierra with NITRO+ RX 580 (Legacy)

Since macOS High Sierra, AMD drivers require SSE 4.2 instructions to be loaded which your CPU does not support. For the workaround, I suggest that you install MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 and use this link to download MouSSE.kext that emulates SSE 4.2 instruction and copy it to your kext folder. This...

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

HI, @CaseySJ I believe changing CPU type in config.plist has no effect on that script. Setting CPU type in config.plist alone will change CPU name shown in "About this Mac". As you can see from the link I posted, 0x0309 will display i3 and so on. But I do not know if this works for Intel's...

Hi @Bobby22, I personnally have four of the FV-T919 cards on my Gigabyte Hackintosh machines which none of them induced any issues. All my Apple peripherals including Magic TrackPad 2, Mouse 2, Keyboard 2 work perfectly. And ,if I were to build a new hackintosh today, the T919 card will still...

    [Stable] Nicoras' Mac: H370M Bazooka + Vega 56 | OpenCore-based

It depends on how your CPU is identified by macOS. How is your processor presented in "About this Mac"? if it says Unknown, you can just modify applesysteminfo.strings.

HI, If you are on macOS Catalina, try this. copy processors.string file to desktop and modify it. After modifying the line, you will have to use the Terminal app to copy the modified string file back to its original location. sudo mount -uw / sudo cp ~/desktop/Processors.strings...

Well... my RX 580 works with VideoProc. Normally, I use iMac 19,1 but to make VideoProc to utilize my RX 580, settings are as follows, macOS: 10.14.6 SMBIOS: iMacPro 1,1 IGPU: disabled Framebuffer: Orinoco FrameBuffer is injected (For me this was required to have GPU name to show up on...

AFAIK, onboard HDMI port only supports up to 4K 30Hz. Have you tried to change the refresh rate to 30 Hz? If not give it a try because mine still works ok on 10.15.4
