Hey Brebo,
I tried the above method with no luck, I then went to search Library/Extensions and there is no "GenericUSBXHCI.kext" inside of it... Any idea why it isn't installing? Also I'm a bit confused by the solution, your saying that the ports won't work with the USB.kext, but I am trying...
Hey feartech thanks for the response, I tried enabling them but I get stuck on the loading screen with the apple logo, I posted about the problem of getting stuck on the apple loading screen on another forum and was advised to disable usb 3.0 in bios, is there a way to re-enable it and have the...
I just installed Sierra and I'm not getting any signal to my USB 3.0 Ports. I followed the installation guide which told me to disable usb 3.0 so it makes sense, but how do I get them back working when they are disabled in bios?
I read this thread...
Just fixed this from this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/hackintosh-suddenly-wont-turn-on-help.59121/

Wait nevermind I had to change the settings in Bios to AHCI and now it started!!!! The only thing left is that it's not recognizing my ethernet or wireless, should I install something through multibeast? Thank you so much for the help!!!

For some reason my bios has become password protected, I don't ever remember enabling this but when I try to open it, it prompts me for a password. Is there any way to disable this?
I am trying to update from Yosemite to sierra, first I attempted to just update the OS by following the guide, I was able to start from the USB, but when I tried to install multibeast I would get a failed message, so I decided to just wipe my HD and do a fresh install. Everything seemed to work...
Unfortunately none of these things worked, since I don't particularly need to migrate my system I'm trying to just do a fresh install. Although I'm running into a couple of problems with that as well. I installed Sierra and everything worked but once I tried to restart it's stuck on the boot...
