Thanks for the tip, got the same issue. My configuration is iMac 14,1 and I have a dvd drive too, disabling it in bios fixed the System Information. However, I can't enable TRIM for my Samsung 840 Pro. Tried `sudo trimforce enable`, latest TRIM enable - no results.
Thanks for the tutorial.
Everything went fine except that I had to rewrite my old EFI Chimera partition entirely from Unibeast USB install using dd.
But I have some issues with "SATA controller" - in System Information/SATA-SATA Express I got this:
> There was an error while scanning for...
Same problems here. Only two USB ports on the mobo are working. Other ports not even supplying power.
Tried to switch on/off USBBusFix, USBLegacyOFF - no result. Used GenericUSBXHCI from Multibeast - no result.
UPD. Removed GenericUSBXHCI - all works fine.
My installation fails and I can't find the log file. I tried to with "sudo find / -name multibeast.log" but no result, finder Search returns no results too.

wildwillow, have you fixed the USB charge for our mobo ? I can't charge my ipad cause USB ports provide only 500 mAh. There is a fix for DSDT:

Hi wildwillow
I've the same MB and same CPU but I can't get what's wrong with fakesmc plugins, HWMonitor from Multibeast 5.5.0 shows only HDD temp and lifetime, dmesg says the following:
sudo dmesg | grep SMC...

OS X 10.8.4 does not (yet?) support Intel Haswell CPU's, it means that you could not load the OS with Haswell processor.
If you have updated to latest Chimera (2.0.1) try to delete /Extra/Extensions/ALC8xxHDA.kext and reinstall drivers from Multibeast. That worked for me.
