Unfortunately I have the 1.1 Version of the board. My BIOS is up-to-date (F9). It wasn't until after I purchased the 1.1V that I began to find the problems associated with the compatibility. I appreciate the input though.
EDIT: I have the Z77-GA-DS3H board also.

Have any other updates come about with the audio problem from this post (still have a 600$ brick as far as I am concerned). Would moving to a graphics card solve the problem? Thinking of ditching the MB and moving to one with more compatibility. Want this machine to run...
Sorry, toleda got to it before I could. I would recommend same. Ethernet is the Atheros Shailua's ALXEthernet that worked for me (and is reccomended). I would post questions related to network in the network section tho, if this doesn't pan out for you... it helps to keep the site organized.
I wish it could be. I don't have audio for my monitor. I'm really perplexed about this-it looks as though many others have succeeded with this build. For those with audio problems, all of those issues were addressed, but none are a solution to my mine. ?? Version 1.1 of the board???
37-48 can by repeated without change. By deleting either the AppleHDA.kext and/or HDAEnabler. and rebooting, then installing the MB ALC887 and waiting a few moments, audio will work until reboot.
1-Clean install
2-Boot OSX volume with -x

Should I be deleting the HDAEnabler1.Kext from the desktop after intalling with KB... Will using MB to install Audio, 1080p, etc. be compromised if it's still there?
Ha, ha! It's remained idle at the DRM Status since that message was created and has not changed. I was attempting to give it more time as you stated that message doesn't stop boot. The only thing I could provide is an IOReg if I reboot with -x. I also noted the points where I created IORegs...
Fresh install with all steps from most previous posts-
1-Fresh install and MB DL
2-UserDSDT/DSDT (IOReg)
3-Reboot
4-HDAEnabler1.kext via Kextbeast (IOReg)
5-Reboot
6-Unplug/Plug HDMI, SINGLE audio file, 1080p (IOReg and SS of installed MB items)
7-Reboot
8-60sec pause on "macx_swapon..."...
...And I will install everything to the point of where we were.
Any validity to needing to run 10.8.4 on the machine from where it's stored, prior to loading it to USB? Contrary to this message, my MBP is running 10.8.4.

As this was my first build I hoped for an easy...
Selected single audio file and now at 10min pause of DRMStatus, similar reboots previous audio driver installations. I did create a "Post-install/Pre-Reboot" IOReg I could submit if I reboot with -x. Not sure if it's helpful. As for now, the system is still at DRM Status... 12min
I took the SS first, then I think I recognized this mistake and installed only the 1 driver. Can I tell if l, in fact, made that correction by looking for files in certain place, or have were you able to verify the mistake in the IOReg provided?
If it can't be made certain whether the all of...
