UniBeast: Install OS X Mavericks on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Article: UniBeast: Install OS X Mavericks on Any Supported Intel-based PC I used a DSDT for enabling HDMI audio, I created this DSDT about a year ago following Toleda's guide. However, right after installation of Mavericks I noticed that HDMI audio was working out of the box, even before I...

    Official HD 4000 Support

I'm out of ideas. I recommend doing a fresh install, following one of the guides mentioned in post #212.

    Official HD 4000 Support

I can't say for sure, but it looks like a cable problem. I would check the connections on both sides of the DVI-cable. If that doesn't help, try another cable if you have one.

I don't know if it matters, but you don't have to use quotes, so <string>"1680x1050x32"</string> should be <string>1680x1050x32</string>.

    Official HD 4000 Support

Look at this thread, the same hardware: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/90031-jmpas-mini-build-i3-3225-h77n-wifi-hd4000.html Here's another thread, only difference is the CPU and more memory. He has DVI working...

Mountain Lion: HD3000/HD4000 with AMD or Nvidia, Working Together

I say it might work, no guarantees. My experience is this. If I only connect a VGA-display, the edit of AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext in post #169 works. If I connect a VGA-display and a HDMI-display, it works partially: - when I boot the computer with both displays connected, the...

    TeamViewer

Problem solved! After more testing I came to the conclusion that it really had to be something with my OS X (network) configuration. So I went through all the network drivers and settings. I checked if I had the latest version of hnak's AppleIntelE1000e driver for my Intel NIC. I had version...

Make OSX ignore a Linux drive?

If I remember correctly what I did: - start Disk Utility - click on the partition that contains Linux - click on the Unmount button at the top of the Disk Utility window The partition will now be greyed out and next time you boot OS X it will ignore the partition.

    TeamViewer

I have a multi-boot system, TeamViewer for Windows works flawless, the remote screen appears immediately after connecting to a remote computer. With TeamViewer for Mac the remote screen appears after a long delay, it can take up to 15 minutes before the screen appears! So the problem is either...

    OS X's fan speed control

Thanks. I will sure consider it. I'm also looking at the Noctua NF-S12A PWM, quite a bit more expensive though. I want the fan to be as quiet as possible. From what I've found on internet I understand that Noctua has the quietest fans.

    OS X's fan speed control

Great, thank you! I'll experiment with the fan headers once I have bought the 4 pin PWM fan.
