I've just made a new usb installer and still can't boot I have no idea how to do this... I really can't loose whats on there either. EDIT: I BLOODY DID IT WITH YOUR HELP OMG THANKS YOU TWO! (Im an idiot and did one thing wrong)

I'm attempting to yes, I have El Capitan completely installed on the hard drive and have been using it for weeks then one day I turned it on and it will not boot. I have not updated or anything which is why I'm so confused.

Yes I only have one folder in there called 'Other' but bare in mind this is on the usb stick and the system is fully installed. And I will post a photo.

Okay, well after what I did it still doesn't boot

When I press space I only get the option to not inject the kexts.

Yes there and considering I can't boot the only folder I can show is on the USB stick

It was in the kexts folder

It's odd because like I said the night before it was installed. And I can't boot to safe mode either so how would I come about fixing that? Thank you very much for your time.

Apologies I must be thinking of a different thing. I have disabled it I will try again. EDIT: It didn't work :(
