    MacOS Ventura x299 Thread

In your EFI folder is an APPLE folder, I would remove that, it may help your issue with booting. Or do what Feartech said…

    MacOS Ventura x299 Thread

If Ventura is installed on a secondary drive, and there is no important data on it, format it and install Catalina. Then map USB as @Feartech has said. Leave Monterey drive alone for now, it's in a working state.

    MacOS Ventura x299 Thread

@poshook So, your desktop is not booting in Mac OS? Do you have a secondary drive to boot to Windows? Asking to see if you have a way to boot on your desktop to map the USB ports? Or are you stuck with a non-bootable machine?

Depends what firmware revision that you are running. If it's F7E I can help you, the newer ones behave bad and don't play nice with OpenCore. Lemme know what you have and we can work move forward. I have mapped most of the USB ports and use the USB3 header (USB-C).

    MacOS Ventura x299 Thread

@poshook You EFI folder was a mess! Here is my change log: 1. Removed the APPLE folder with firmware updates. 2. Removed things in your TOOLS directory that weren't in your config.plist, Openshell.efi wasn't OC0.8.5, it was an older version. Changed to current. 3. Fixed your platform ID's in...

    MacOS Ventura x299 Thread

After looking over your config.plist, I found some things that maybe missing from your setup, as compared to mine. If you look here, in the OpenCore Setup Guide there are some things that are needed, unless you are savy enough to make your own .aml files. Maybe test on a USB boot stick for now...

@poshook A different way to say what the others are trying to teach you, take your EFI folder and what they gave you for USB, use it to do an install on different drive with an older MacOS, Catalina is best. Then, use the guide that @Feartech gave on page 1 of this thread. You have to get the...

I was able to update to Ventura on my system. Running OC 0.8.6 and it went smooth, 3.86GB download, and multiple reboots, with install wait time... I changed the wallpaper, bad color choices on Apple's part...

    ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

@egroys I did a fresh install on a WD Black SN750 SSD, because I had a Samsung 970 EVO and everyone was having issues in Monterey. So the install was good, and just selected the other drive to import all the data, and then it all went smooth. Side effect is that the WD drive is faster than the...

    ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

@nmano Ok, I've modified my EFI with some of the information in your EFI. It looks like you have heavily patched your system (almost like in Hackintool). Anyways, it appears like you are using OC 0.7.7. I haven't got mine up and running on that version yet. Mine is running OC 0.7.6 on Monterey...

I looked at your kext file and you have mapped 15 ports so that good! What I see next maybe the root cause of your problem: Excerpt from panic file: You have BOTH TSCAdjustReset and CpuTscSync. I would remove TSCAdjust and only use CpuTscSync, it's either one or the other, I had issues with...
