[Almost solved] Can't make UHD 630 work on Catalina 10.15.7, Z390M

OK, after reading Dortania guide and with some ideas from Framebuffer patching guide I finally was able to find a working solution! :) DVI - works, HDMI - works, DP - works, if only one monitor is connected. When two are daisy chained, they are mirrored and system sees only one monitor. All...

[Almost solved] Can't make UHD 630 work on Catalina 10.15.7, Z390M

A little more info: motherboard has DP, HDMI, and DVI. I'm testing with HDMI and DVI monitors. I've also tried hackintosh generated patches, by setting all ports to either DVI (digital) or HDMI types and hoping that at least one will start working. But it didn't. After trying many id's and...

[Almost solved] Can't make UHD 630 work on Catalina 10.15.7, Z390M

Processor: 9700K MB: Gigabyte Z390M Bootloader: OpenCore 0.6.3 Catalina 10.15.7 I can't find proper setting to make HD630 work. I was doing everything in OpenCore guide, but while macOS is loading I always get "[IGPU] Graphics driver failed to load: could not register with Framebuffer driver"...

New Apple Silicon Macs: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini

More expensive macbooks are still on i5, so I suppose M1 is a little slower than that. If this is the case, our hackintoshes with i7 or i9 are still ok for a year or two :)

Can HD4000 output 2560x1440 via HDMI?

I need to be more or less up to date. Now on Catalina, but would like to update to Big Sur in the beginning of next year, when apple will fix most notorious bugs :)

Can HD4000 output 2560x1440 via HDMI?

RX580 in my favorite shop costs about 230-250€. Full system with current i5 and 16gb ram is about 700€. I'm a little afraid of buying used cards, don't have enough time in case there would be problems.

Can HD4000 output 2560x1440 via HDMI?

OK, thanks! After your reply I've checked gigabyte site, and it's what you've said :( Keeping in mind that RX580 card costs more than one third of quite good pc (without GPU), looks like I'll go for a new machine :)

Can HD4000 output 2560x1440 via HDMI?

I always used two monitors with 1920x1080 resolution. Now I've upgraded one to 27" with a resolution of 2560x1440. Natively I can't set such resolution. I installed RDM app which now let's me select such resolution. But monitor still thinks it's 2048x1080 and whole screen is blurry. Graphics...
