NVIDIA Cuda Driver Version: 418.163 Is Now Available

On X299 systems, Cuda seems to be unstable. @Junologue has had this problem. A Kernel panic can happen just by clicking a file in finder. But it can be stable for a day or so... it is wierd... So I wrote a little script to disable it until I need it for an app. #!/bin/sh if [[ $1 = u ]]; then...

Have you tried Resolve 16 Beta? RED is supposed to be faster on 16.

Yosemite to High Sierra...can I upgrade or should I do fresh install?

I would suggest that you use a spare harddrive, and configure clover on it, and do a Vanilla install of High Sierra on it. Once you get a good working high sierra on the spare drive, use that clover for your Yosemite, and see if it boots. If it does, then do the update.

Well, Installed Cuda, and been crashy today... None of my suggestions worked... I am trying the latest HWSensors3 from https://sourceforge.net/projects/hwsensors3.hwsensors.p/ right now... Let's see if the GeforceSensor.kext in it works :)

The Desktop Video 11.0 update should have the drivers for all the Video products. Have you tried to get the card working in Windows? The firmware on your board could be very old. I used to have that card, but the outputs died on it. So I am now using the DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K. I am still...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Sweet!! I will have to check it out. My Crashes weren't even during heavy CUDA processing. It would happen on stupid times. like clicking on a file in finder, not always, just randomly when I would click on something. Especially of I was rendering video. But it would happen sometimes if I didn't...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hmmmm... I used to get a bunch of crashes when I was using CUDA. I uninstalled it, and haven't had many crashes. Today though, My thunderbolt crashed. Wouldn't even show up on Windows, even after I disabled & re-enabled it in the BIOS. Then I turned the power off completely, and turned it one...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Here is mine. You can't flash it from the bios, as it is missing a checksum or something, and it will fail.. You need to do the Flashback mode. Basically, shut down the computer, put your thumbdrive in the usb port that that is by the biosflash button, and then press the button, and wait for the...

I have a BlackMagic DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K in Slot 5. I didn't do a SSDT for it, so it doesn't show in System Information. My Videocard takes up 3 slots, so I have it is Slot 5. That is why it is better to get the Titian Ridge Thunderbolt Card. My windows seems to work with it disconnected.

Hmmm.. Seems that you haven't done the SSDT stuff for your motherboard. Here is my PCI listing for my X299-A To help you out, I attached my IOREG, and my EFI folder. If you don't have the i7-7800X, you will have to change the TSCAdjustReset.kext to match your processor, and the CPXX -> PRXX...
