Well you should start by trying to isolate the problem and make sure it actually is your wifi card. See if it can sleep with no wifi card, and if it can sleep with Ethernet but no wifi, and if disabling it in software works. Also yours is not the same card as mine was so not sure how applicable...

I've tried all the UUIDs at the end as well, like that guide suggested, also with no luck. I don't think this is about not having the right name anymore. After all, there's on one drive named Macintosh HD. Rather Clover just doesn't seem to like booting it.

Can anyone help me? The computer gets about 1/6th of the way through the pre-install booter then has a kernel panic. I'm using the updated apfs.efi and Clover 4509 from the downloads section, and I've attached my EFI folder.
