    I made a huge mistake

Yep, I installed Clover in Legacy mode. Will do. I was keeping it plugged in out of convenience, but I can see how that impedes troubleshooting. I gave my hysterical answer to this in the post above. Thanks for your time and help.

    I made a huge mistake

Yeah, I did use Legacy mode. The thing is, I don't see any 'EFI' folder, just the "EFI-Backups" folder. So, those hidden 'boot' files. Are those Mac boot files or Clover? Most likely because I used Migration Assistant to go from a Chimera hacked system a Clover hacked system, and then...

    I made a huge mistake

There doesn't appear to be any Clover files on any of those drives. And I'm pretty sure it went onto the Mojave system/disk...that was the default destination. The first time I went to run the Clover installer, it defaulted to Mojave, and I selected the USB drive. But then the Customize button...

    I made a huge mistake

So, disk4 is not showing up in EFI Mounter. I'm assuming its not a GUID partition. It says APFS, which is the new Apple proprietary formatting I guess. Have I hit a dead-end?

    I made a huge mistake

My apologies for being somewhat thick-headed with all this, but again, I’m in unfamiliar waters, and if there is a chance that my system can be rescued by making all the correct moves going forward — and not making another blunder — I’d like that. I do thank you for tolerating this. Anyway, I’m...

    I made a huge mistake

And when you say, "mount the EFI partition", you're referring to the partition on which my Mojave system resides, right? There is only the one partition. I apologize for my lack of knowledge here. I don't know what is what, as I haven't messed with a hackintosh in quite some time. I was just...

    I made a huge mistake

Thank you P1LGR1M. So, I noticed that there is another boot file — with the same date — outside of the EFI folder. That can't be a coincidence... throw it out as well? Anything else? I tried to see where the original of the EFIROOTDIR alias, but it didn't take me anywhere.

    I made a huge mistake

I apologize if this is not the appropriate place to post this. Please advise me if this should go somewhere else. It just seems that the people who post here might be able to help me. I was on my legit iMac Mojave system — trying to create bootable Clover USB drive for my *hackintosh* system —...

No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Yes it is! I was under the impression (from things I had read) that I couldn't just drag and drop a kext into place; that it had to be properly installed. I used DPCIManager to do it, thinking that I would be given the opportunity to select a destination. I wasn't, and DCPIManager installed it...

DPCIManger installed realtekALC.kext into 'Other' folder. There is no 10.12 folder. It also installed it into S/L/E. Does that matter? 1.) No sound out of anything. 2.) 10.12.2 / GA-H55-USB3 / F5 / 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 / GeForce GTX 960 3.) Sierra Desktop/Realtek AppleHDA Audio [Guide] /...

I ran audio_cloverALC-120.command.zip script again, but still no RealtekALC in L/E. What am I doing wrong? My apologies for the ineptitude.

Sorry, now added to my previous post. No, not in L/E or S/L/E. I assumed MultiBeast would have installed this with Quickstart. Just install it, or do I need to install it and do something else? Thanks, Really!

1.) No sound out of anything. 3 Line Outs, Digital Out available (no Internal Speakers available), but no sound out of anything. 2.) 10.12.2 / GA-H55-USB3 / F5 / 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 / GeForce GTX 960 3.) Hard for a non-tech to know sometimes. : ) So I need to back track. In config.plist I had checked and made a change or two. Could you verify: ACPI/DSDT/Fixes AddDTGP_0001 is set to YES ACPI/DSDT Debug is set to YES (I think it was NO)
